The vineyards from which the grapes with which this red is made come from are located at an altitude of over 700 metres. On the nose it is very aromatic, with a predominance of black fruit and red fruit, while on the palate it is vibrant and maintains a balanced acidity.
View: Ruby red color, medium intensity, clean and bright. With the presence of tears.
Nose: Clean and frank. The Garnacha expresses itself in the form of a cherry and the Tempranillo leaves a clear trace of black fruit.
Palate: Medium bodied, balanced acidity, pleasant tannins and integrated alcohol. In retoranasal it is long, with hints of red fruit and balsamic notes combined with wood.
Description: Tempranillo vineyards in Ábalos and Garnacha in Tudelilla, at more than 700 meters of altitude. Soil: Sandy decomposed from the bedrock (Ábalos), as well as poor and stony (Tudelilla).
Climate: The 2018 harvest was marked by a severe, long and rainy winter that delayed the vegetative cycle by 15 days. Harvest: Manual harvest in boxes of 15 kilograms, taking place at the beginning of September.
Vinification: Selection of clusters and maceration before fermentation to extract aromas and colours. The two varieties are fermented separately to obtain different nuances. Malolactic fermentation in French oak vats in contact on lees. Aging: 15 months of aging.
